By entering the dungeons your guide will bring to life what used to be the “backstage” of the Colosseum events. This place was used by slaves while working inside the Colosseum without being seen by the spectators. The exotic animals were stored here before the shows at the Colosseum’s Arena and this was the place from which the gladiators would accede to the Arena before the fights.This visit will include the Colosseum, the underground area of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.Please wear comfortable shoes. Join the afternoon tour and you will encounter less crowd entering the Museums. You guide will lead you through the Galleries of the Vatican Museums (Gallery of Tapestries, Gallery of Candelabra, Gallery of Maps). After a slow-pace and enjoyable stroll through the Galleries, you will access the Sistine Chapel and you will have some time to admire incredible Michelangelo’s frescoes: the Last Judgement and the Sistine Chapel ceiling with the Creation of Adam. After visiting the Sistine Chapel, as a participant of this tour, you will have the privileged access to the St Peters' Basilica. Your guide will escort you through the passage and you will skip hours-long line at the Basilica. Your guide will bring you to the entrance of the Basilica where you will be provided with main historical and architectural notions about the Basilica. Afterwards, you will be free to access the Basilica where you can stay as long as you wish.
